"Since then you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above not on earthy things." Colossians 3:1-2

Hitting the Ground Running- Uganda

Our hour and a half delay getting out of Denver, combined with a very slow arrival process in London meant that we missed our connection to Entebbe.  But I reminded myself to relax, knowing that God is shaping me in the process of this adventure.... lack of planning, mishaps, circumstances out of my control.  It’s a chance to be flexible, be pleasant, and be excited about this turn of events in our schedule.  It meant 2 red eye flights back to back, and a travel time exceeding 24 hours.  It meant more experiences in airplane food, like the lamb pizza our kids ate to choke down their malaria pills.  It meant the chance to land in Doha, Qatar, a city I previously couldn’t place on a map.  It meant landing in Entebbe at 6:15am only to launch straight into our first day of activities followed by a 3 hours bus ride to our next destination.  But all is well.  God is in control, on His throne, and shaping us all in the process.  Looking forward to our week in Uganda!
