It’s all fun and games until you see your first cockroach! It was greeted with screams and tears and a very brave dad who was going to rescue us all, until we learned that cockroaches fly AND don’t easily flush down the toilet! I was in the middle of reading the kids a bedtime story when Wyatt flew out of bed after seeing this 3-inch long cockroach crawling on the wall near his head. I have known this was a reality but really hoped we’d miss out on this part of our adventure. Don’t know if any of us will be able to sleep tonight…..
