We had the cultural experience of going sari shopping. We drove down the street to a town called Cheringa, with Blake and Mike. There were many shop owners that wouldn't even help us because we were American's, however we finally found a shop, sat down on our stools and the process of looking at hundred's of fabrics began. After we chose our favorite, we had the tailor visit us when we got back to the compound. Within 2 days and for less than 20 dollars we had custom shirts, petticoats, and beautiful saris to wear to services on Friday!
